Overview

The only thing that prevents someone from achieving what they want to achieve is the limitations that they put on themselves.  Great coaches aid people in recognising these self imposed limits and find a way around them.


This programme will help to develop the skills that will enable you to help others to make positive changes to their personal and/or professional lives through formal coaching arrangements.

Who will benefit?

This programme has been developed for anybody that wants to develop their coaching capability.

Your Investment

This programme provides 12 months learning and coaching development support, including:

  • Pre workshop preparatory materials
  • 2 day interactive workshop, including lunch and refreshments
  • 4 x 1 hour personal coaching session by telephone with an Illuminate coach (1 session per month for  4 months)
  • 12 months access to Illuminate Development’s online learning forums, including additional learning materials and ongoing support from Illuminate’s programme tutors.

The cost of this programme is just £500 + VAT per person.

If you want us to run one of our courses for your company or department at your offices we can do this, and you will be able to invest less for the same great results.

Programme content

The programme covers the skills and knowledge required to deliver effective and motivating coaching sessions. Upon completion of the programme, you will be able to:

  • Define the coach’s role and describe different coaching approaches
  • Set the ground rules for your coaching sessions
  • Build trusting relationships with the people that you coach
  • Select and apply the most appropriate coaching model and/or approach for a given situation
  • Skilfully question your learners and respond to their replies appropriately
  • Review both your learners’ and your own progress
  • Give effective, motivational feedback
  • Confidently deal with difficult coaching situations
