Programme content
The programme covers a range of knowledge and skills that will enable you to effectively build and motivate a high performing team. Upon completion of the programme, you will be able to:
- Define the key features of an effective team and the necessary conditions for high performance
- Define the different roles individuals can play within a team and how they add value to the team
- Explain the key stages of team development
- Effectively manage your team as they progress through each stage of team development
- Define the strengths of individual team members and outline how these can be effectively leveraged
- Apply a range of approaches for motivating individuals with differing motivational needs
- Engage and involve team members in the development of the team
