Programme content

The programme covers a range of knowledge and skills that will enable you to select and recruit the right people for your organisation. Upon completion of the programme, you will be able to:

  • Explain the importance of effective recruitment and the implications of poor hiring decisions
  • Outline an effective recruitment process
  • Define your roles and responsibilities as a recruiter at each stage of the process
  • List a range of candidate assessment tools and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each
  • Build effective competency based interviews
  • Demonstrate effective candidate interviewing and assessment skills
  • Confidently provide appropriate feedback to successful and unsuccessful candidates
