UK Learners Benefit From More Development Time Than Their US Counterparts
Dated: 2010-05-16
A typical learner in the UK spent approximately 16 hours receiving formal training in 2009 (compared to 12 hours per learner in the US), with most of that time spent in face to face training.
While e-learning and virtual classroom training accounted for just 14% of all training hours it is expected that the use of technology-based delivery methods will increase as financial pressures continue.
